Los Gemelos
Transportation is provided from Puerto Ayora to Los Gemelos, which are located in the upper part of Santa Cruz Island at 21.1 km. They are sinkholes formed by a series of volcanic eruptions. Here you will find a Scalesia forest, which is a forest of endemic trees from Galapagos. You will also be able to appreciate several species of Galapagos finches and the beautiful little vermilion flycatchers.
